Okay, 1.5 hours until November is over. I think I kinda cut things close. But I have had an OUTRAGEOUSLY productive month. Here is my tally of successes; FU – the free universal RPG Come With Me If You Want To Live – the boardgame we bashed out in 2 hours at Iron Game Chef,
NaGa DeMon
I am christening this month National Game Design Month (NaGa DeMon). When I proposed this idea I thought of it as an alternative to NaNoWriMo, something for non-noveling game fans to do during November. BUT WAIT! It turns out, you don’t have to write a novel to participate in NaNoWriMo.
The Green and the Tan
The Green and the Tan are fast-playing and fun miniature battle rules to use with plastic army men – you know, the cheap toy soldiers you get from discount stores! Easy for new players to get involved quickly, without having to worry about detailed army lists or complex charts, but detailed enough to provide veteran players

I have been busy over the Christmas break, doing the family thing, recording the odd episode of Here Be Gamers! and writing games. It seems that whenever I get more than two days off in a row my mind gets all creative and I just can’t help myself.
State of the Planet
As summer begins to warm the Earth (here in the Southern Hemisphere, anyway) and the silly season of Christmas shifts into high gear, and thoughts turn to holidays, relaxation and the coming new year, I thought it would be timely to reflect on the year that has been and the year that is fast approaching.
