Make it a mechanic
I was reading John Wick’s SexCraft the other day (yes, SexCraft) and it reminded me that if you want something to be important in your game, giving it a specific mechanic can help. I almost wrote “if you want something to be important, give it a mechanic”, but I don’t think this is always true.
Planet News – April
The first in a regular series of articles sharing what is happening behind the scenes, and what is on the horizon. This post discusses FU, The Beast of Limfjord, Verge and something new.
The Fallout
Last year I wrote a play set for the totally awesome game, Fiasco. It has just been updated, had a few tweaks to make it “punchier” and released in the latest edition of Pelgrane Press’ Page XX. It even has an awesome new cover. The new version has an updated, more focused “Insta-Setup”, and a
The Beast is here!
The Beast of Limfjord is now available! After more than twelve months of hard grist, and lots of help, support and feedback from friends and fans, the game is complete and ready for your grubby hands! Coming in at 24 pages (plus attractive cover), the PDF is packed full of Epic Viking Goodness!
FU for You
FU is finally up. I have created a whole page for it here. I will add to the page as I have time (after Christmas at this stage). That is quite a bit of stuff I have posted over the last week. Thank you to the people that have sent me feedback on it. I

NaGa/NaNo Update #4
Alright, week 2 is over and I am actually on track. Two games completed! The first game, FU, took most of the time (a lot longer than expected, but I am very happy with it), while the second has been much quicker. Tonight I have finished Come With Me If You Want To Live! This
NaGa / NaNo Update #3
Alright, my first week is rapidly coming to a close. I have ALMOST finished my first game, FU, though have not made all the modifications to the original rules I had intended. The main reason was that I didn’t want to. It is so outrageously light, easy and FUN that I decided I didn’t want
NaNo / NaGa Update #2
Progress continues on FU, though not as quickly as I had hoped. Luckily, the weekend approaches and I have given myself until Sunday to have it completed and posted on the Peril Planet site. I had a couple of issues in terms of putting everything together in a way that both conveyed the information I
